About the role
National Inspection & Consultants (NIC), an Element Materials Technology Company, is seeking experienced and quality‑driven Level II Ultrasonic Shear Wave (UTSW) Technicians to support NDT inspection activities involving structural steel welds and fabricated components.
Responsibilities
Perform NDT inspections of structural steel welds and fabricated components using Ultrasonic Shear Wave (UTSW) techniques.
Requirements
- Current Level II qualification/certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- Demonstrated experience performing Ultrasonic Shear Wave (UTSW) examinations
- Proven experience inspecting structural steel welds
Qualifications
- Submit a current resume with supporting documentation of UT Level II training
- Provide certification/qualification records
- Document classroom training hours
- Provide OJT and/or documented inspection experience
- Meet ITAR requirements
