UT Level II Technicians (NDT)

About the Role

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking UT Level II Technicians (NDT) for full-time employment in our New Kensington, PA location. The position involves working in a shop environment across a variety of industries, including Aerospace, FAA, Construction, Oils & Gas (manufacturing), and DoD.

Working Conditions

• In-house plant/shop atmosphere.
• Interaction with other crew employees, supervisors, and clients.
• Working in plant and/or shop areas around other NDT inspection equipment and forklifts; elevated noise levels may occur.
• Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.

Requirements

• Applicants must provide QA documents for Level II UT Technician (900 hours).
• Must have experience or prior certification as an NDE Level II technician with adequate, documented experience hours as required by ASNT-TC-1A Standard or NAS 410.
• Aerospace experience is a major plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds.
• Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, to communicate effectively.
• Sufficient vision or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodation, to conduct inspections.
• Positive attitude and ability to work professionally with fellow employees.
