St. Francis of the Lakes Catholic School in Brainerd is seeking a full-time Educational Assistant/Aide beginning with the 2026–2027 school year.

About the role

This position supports teachers and students in creating a positive, faith-filled learning environment while assisting with classroom instruction, small-group and individual student support, supervision, and other school-related responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist with classroom instruction
• Provide small-group and individual student support
• Supervise students
• Perform other school-related responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Experience working with school-aged children
• Classroom experience or equivalent preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Desire to support the mission of Catholic education
• Successfully complete all required Safe Environment training
• Pass a background check

School hours: 8:00 AM–2:40 PM
Office hours: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (school year), 8:00 AM–12:00 PM Tuesday–Thursday (summer, closed in July)
