About the role

The role is based in any major Aon U.S. office and involves driving sales growth, industry engagement, and colleague assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Drive incremental sales growth via self-production and through the Industry Growth Team.
  • Manage and drive accountability for sales activity within the Industry Growth team.
  • Develop, plan, and implement industry-specific sales strategies with market sales leaders.
  • Represent the practice in strategic business initiatives and innovative solutions.
  • Host industry events for clients and prospects.
  • Provide practice and/or thought leadership at a national level.
  • Identify development opportunities for direct reports to make the team better and improve the client experiences.
  • Author white papers and other industry collateral.
  • Expand current client relationships and new client opportunities by participating in RFPs and deal coaching.
  • Meet with Aon teams at a Market and/or Regional level to discuss industry specific topics.
  • Meet with current clients and bring industry insights to bear on their needs.
  • Making significant contributions to a high-profile initiative which has significantly shaped or impacted the business.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred and post graduate degree or comparable business experience.

Qualifications

Experienced executive recognized as a strategic problem solver with established relationships in the industry and a consistent record of leading a dynamic team.

Skills

Strategic thinking, relationship building, sales, industry knowledge, thought leadership, client engagement, and team management.

Pay

The actual salary will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant’s geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in Aon’s annual incentive plans in addition to base salary.

Schedule

This role does not accrue vacation. Rather, this role is eligible to take paid time off at the discretion of the employee and management in accordance with company policy and practices.
