North America Development Leader - Alternative Delivery
About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced North America Development Leader – Alternative Delivery to play a critical leadership role in advancing our alternative delivery business across the region.
Responsibilities
- Achieve agreed sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Develop and implement sales strategies that grow market share in design-build and alternative delivery.
- Drive revenue growth through strategic pursuit of alternative delivery opportunities.
- Build, maintain, and expand senior-level relationships with contractor clients across key North American markets.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and positioning the business for long-term partnerships.
- Represent the organization externally, enhancing visibility and market presence.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize alternative delivery pursuits.
- Lead go/no-go decisions and ensure a strong, sustainable pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Collaborate internally to align resources and capabilities to deliver winning solutions.
- Provide visible, inspiring leadership across North America, fostering collaboration and a “one company” approach.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across markets, sectors, and practices to deliver integrated solutions to clients.

Requirements
Proven ability to inspire, motivate, and lead teams, building strong morale and high performance.
Demonstrated success developing and executing sales strategies within large, complex organizations.
Deep understanding of the A/E/C industry, including design-build and emerging alternative delivery models.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance client needs with sound business and project outcomes.
In-depth knowledge of Design-Build contract risks and experience negotiating successful contract terms.
Established network with key contractor clients, private organizations, and state and municipal agencies.
Track record of leveraging senior-level relationships into a robust and sustainable sales pipeline.
Demonstrated success winning infrastructure projects, particularly with public sector agencies.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Confident presenting to diverse audiences, including clients, peers, and executive leadership.
Positive, big-picture outlook with the ability to align daily actions to long-term vision and strategy.
Qualifications
Proven track record of success in a similar role.
Experience in the North American market, preferably in the design-build and alternative delivery sectors.
Education in a relevant field such as engineering, construction management, or business administration.
Professional certifications in related fields, such as Project Management Professional (PMP).
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the A/E/C industry.
Experience in managing and leading cross-functional teams.
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

Pay
The expected salary for this position is $250,000 - $300,000. Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.
