Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated 360 (internal and external) communications strategies that support design narratives for our brands, vehicles, and design disciplines (interior, exterior, CMF, etc.)
- Collaborate with Global Design Comms to ensure the narrative for North America aligns with global priorities
- Support Design senior leadership team, along with the extended design team for industry and brand storytelling opportunities
- Manage and identify technical and automotive media relations and thought leadership opportunities, positioning key voices as experts in the field of automotive design
- Create high-impact content across channels — including press materials, executive messaging, and other engaging content — to highlight our design team leadership
- Maintain an overview of industry trends and competitive activity
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in communications, preferably in automotive or lifestyle/travel sectors, with established media relationships
- Must be curious, proactive and performance-driven, with the ability to build strong interorganizational relationships, prioritize, and work under pressure
- Expert relationship builder that can confidently engage with media, analysts, and senior internal stakeholders to represent and communicate creative product and brand stories
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across formats and platforms that engage multiple audiences
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization while exercising discretion and maintaining confidentiality
