Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the physical environment, always ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Demonstrate pride in work by creating positive energy, teamwork, excitement, and fun.
- Meet the demands of a fast-paced environment through personal empowerment, using good judgment and the ability to multi-task.
- Ensures locker rooms are consistently spotless and fully stocked at all times throughout shift.
- Focused on turning lockers (dirty to clean status in system) as quickly as possible.
- Conducts scheduled walk throughs to maintain cleanliness of pool deck, relaxation spaces and fire pit.
- Walks through to ensure cleanliness and standards are always maintained.
- Checks cleanliness and temperature of pools, steam rooms and saunas.
- Refills and restocks guest amenities and laundry items in a timely manner.
- Completes deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
- Assigned deliverables are executed in a manner that requires little or no follow up; both in terms of timeliness and quality.
- Understands spaces that are clean, organized and in good repair supports the value that experiences should be as easy as water through fingers.
- Completing work processes and checklists seamlessly support the Spa value that we respect our guest’s inherent desire to be at peace.
- Personal communication, interactions and behaviors support the Spa value that everyone is welcome and everyone is equal.
- Contributes to a collaborative workplace; supporting the Spa value of community, common goals, and acceptance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- One year leadership experience within the hospitality or spa industry is preferred.
- First Aid Certificates (including CPR) preferred.
- Excellent guest service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Able to lift, move, and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.
- Passion for people and wellness.
- Able to focus on attention to detail, remaining professional and courteous at all times.
- Must be highly self-motivated.
- Must be highly organized and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and able to complete many diverse tasks concurrently.
