NorBella Prior Lake & NorBella Savage, Lifespark Senior Living Communities, are seeking an On-Call Chef/Cook to join their team. The role involves preparing food in accordance with resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
• Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
• Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
• Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
• Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications

• Large volume cooking experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees.
• Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to divide or multiply recipes to meet the quantity needs for service.

$17.50-$22.50 per hour
