The School of Health Administration seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/nontenured faculty to teach in undergraduate and graduate programs. Temporary/nontenured faculty are appointed to teach one to two courses per semester. Teaching appointments are based on student demand on a semester-by-semester basis. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations during the term period, in addition to continuity of funding and departmental/school/program need.
Responsibilities
- Teach one to two courses per semester
- Teach at the San Marcos, Round Rock campuses, and/or online, depending on the needs of the academic department
Requirements
- Eligible for annual reappointment based on satisfactory performance evaluations
- Continuity of funding and departmental/school/program need
Qualifications
- PhD in a relevant field
- Experience teaching at the university level
