About the role

This is an academic professional track, non-tenure accruing position. Successful candidates will be expected to carry out a vigorous program of applied, policy-relevant research, contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching, and provide service to the university and the profession.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in economics, public policy, political science, or a closely related field by date of hire
• Demonstrate a commitment to high quality research and teaching

Qualifications

• Well-prepared to teach applied microeconomics and public finance economics at the graduate and undergraduate levels

• Strong research skills
• Effective teaching abilities
• Service orientation

Benefits

• Full-time 9-month appointment with a standard 3-3 teaching load
