About the role
The Department of Public Service and Administration in the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University invites applications for temporary, part-time, non-tenure track faculty positions in its Extended Education online graduate programs.
Responsibilities
- Teach credit-granting graduate courses in Advanced Nonprofit Management, Public Management, Public Service and Administration, or Homeland Security.
- Employed as Visiting Lecturers.
- Remote position with Texas A&M University.
- Subject to budgetary availability, student enrollment needs, and program needs and demand.
Requirements
- A doctoral degree in a closely related social science discipline, or a master's level degree appropriate for the field in which the faculty member will teach, with significant teaching experience at the college/school level in the field or in a related field.
- An extraordinary record of accomplishment in an applied setting.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Advanced Nonprofit Management, Public Management, Public Service and Administration, or Homeland Security.
- Significant teaching experience at the college/school level in the field or in a related field.
- Relevant to graduate and/or undergraduate instruction.
- Teaching experience with specific courses taught.
- Philosophy and plans for teaching.
