Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory procedures including cell culturing, standard biochemical measurements.
- Enzymatic assays, native electrophoresis, and fluorescent scanning.
- Use new techniques to assist in research progress and perform statistical analysis of data.
- Prepare and perform internal progress reports on experiments.
- Attend weekly laboratory meetings and other training programs in other collaborating laboratories as needed.
- Order supplies and reagents for other lab members.
- Complete inventory of basic laboratory materials, organize freezers and other storage areas.
- May conduct computational studies and or manage research databases.
- Performs related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or Equivalency required.
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, engineering or related science preferred or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
