Non-Salaried Foreman - Packing

Safety-sensitive position.

Schedule

Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with overtime as needed, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and organize stackers each day, ensuring they are assigned to the line where needed and following all safety and food safety rules.
• Manage inventory of products scheduled for shipping the next day, ensuring orders are covered.
• Assist with immediate shipment orders.
• Fill in for supervisor, other non-salaried supervisors, and poly machine operators as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.

Requirements

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English fluently.
• Written and oral communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic maintenance skills.
• Willingness and ability to learn computer skills related to poly-machine controls.
• Good troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness and ability to climb up to 30 feet.
• Willingness and ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Willingness and ability to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and turn throughout the day.
• Willingness and ability to work in hot temperatures for extended periods.
• Willingness and ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Willingness and ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Willingness and ability to follow all safety and food safety rules.

Preferences

• Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership skills.
