About the role

We are recruiting linguists to join our team of Non-Linguistic Quality Coordination (QC) task specialists. This role involves performing QC of translations into English for pharmacovigilance, regulatory, and clinical content.

Responsibilities

  • Perform QC of translations into English for pharmacovigilance, regulatory, and clinical content.
  • Use CAT tools (XTM preferred) and run QA checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Validate formatting, numbers, dates, units, terminology, and adherence to instructions.
  • Support processing of non-editable/handwritten sources and perform formatting QC after conversion.
  • Self-assign work via Open Offers and meet urgent turnaround times (typically 12-24 hours).
  • Handle high volume split across multiple small files; document and report discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with translators, editors, and project managers; escalate risks promptly.
  • Follow corporate procedures (CP0048), data security, and SOPs within the assigned Squad.

Requirements

  • Mandatory experience with CAT tools: XTM, Trados, MemoQ, Phrase, or similar.
  • Experience with QA checks: Xbench, Verifika, or CAT-integrated QA.
  • Minimum 6 months as a Language QA specialist in localization.
  • Advanced English (C1); proficient in Microsoft Word (Track Changes).
  • Availability of 4-5 hours per day; willing to work weekends and bank holidays.
  • Able to meet urgent turnaround times (12-24 hours) and manage many small files.
  • Willing to complete the QC test and follow staged onboarding.
