Non Conforming Technician

Your Role And Responsibilities

• Process daily nonconformance from Kansas warehouse.
• Performs detailed evaluation of product and accurately documents accordingly.
• Fields customer initiated claims concerning product quality in general.
• Evaluates said product to verify conformance in workmanship, construction, function and overall integrity as required by engineering specifications or OEM samples.
• Process daily defective returns from Kansas warehouse.
• Performs detailed evaluation of product and accurately documents accordingly.
• Suggests final disposition of product.
• Follows up non-conformances with the Materials group.
• Give detailed reasons with QA reports, obtain return authorizations, packing slips, inventory adjustments and final disposition of product.
• Disposition non-conformances from all TVH distribution centers using the same methods and tools as the Kansas warehouse.
• Follows up rejected defective returns through CRM with sales.
• Give detailed reasons, photos and options for return to the customer.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Frequent standing and walking.
• Repetitive motion, and use of hands and arms for reaching, grasping, lifting, pushing, and pulling from floor to overhead.
• Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
• Occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing may occur.
• Lift and/or move up to 15 pounds regularly, up to 40 pounds frequently, and over 50 pounds occasionally.
• Team lifting or material handling equipment is required for items over 50 pounds.

How To Succeed

• Must possess some mechanical knowledge of fork truck or automobile workings.
• Excellent computer skills required.
• A+, Access, Word, Excel and CRM skills.
• General understanding of part fit and function as related to product.
