Non-Affiliated Student Technician

Responsibilities

• Water plants as needed.
• Sow and transplant vegetable plants used in experiments.
• Maintain whitefly, thrips, aphid, ladybug, and big-eyed bug colonies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to work outdoors in hot weather.

Other Requirements

• This position requires performing physical work outdoors including plant care tasks in hot, humid, and occasionally adverse weather conditions.
• All positions are security-sensitive.
