About the role

West Virginia University Medicine is seeking multiple Nocturnist Physician Hospitalists for West Virginia University Hospitals, Inc. Position is based at Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, WV.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with disease and injuries of the human internal organ system and establish preventive health practices for patients.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree or foreign equivalent.
• Completed residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and West Virginia Medical License eligible.
• Board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Skills

The team currently has two full-time nocturnists which cover almost all night shifts. We have nearly a full team with minimal historic use of locums' tenens hospitalists. We have an experienced group of Advanced Practice Providers that provide excellent support to our physicians.
