Nocturnist Hospitalist NP / PA

Location: Baltimore, MD – Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital

About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected inpatient practice. You’ll be supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. The team includes 13 physicians and 8 advanced practice providers. Schedule is 7 pm – 7 am with no call.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care under physician supervision to manage both acute and chronic health conditions.
• Conduct detailed health assessments, gather complete patient histories, and interpret diagnostic tests to guide precise, evidence-based treatment plans.

Requirements

• NCCPA, AANPCM, or ANCC Board Certification.
• Eligible for Maryland medical licensure and DEA registration.
• BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Physician Assistant credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program; Master’s degree preferred.
• Advanced Life Support preferred.
• Previous critical-care experience is a plus.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Pay

Base salary: $125,500–$155,000 per year.

Schedule

Full-time, 7 pm – 7 am, no call.
