Key Responsibilities of a Nocturnist APP
- Provide high-quality patient care during night shifts, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. - Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as suturing, splinting, and managing wound care. - Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adapting care plans as necessary. - Document patient interactions thoroughly and accurately in electronic health records.Schedule and Shift Details
This is a full-time, night-shift position with 7-on/7-off schedule.Qualifications and Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in the state of employment. - Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospitalist or nocturnist setting preferred. - Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) in North Carolina (NC) - Strong clinical skills and the ability to make decisions independently. - Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach.Benefits of Working with Us
