About the role
The Module Group Leader (MGL) for the Dry Etch department (DE) at NMSi leads a team of module engineers and/or manufacturing operations engineers to transfer new products to factory and support high volume manufacturing with robust and sustainable solutions. They also lead a team of module development engineers to drive technology development and enablement, providing integrated process solutions and performing feasibility studies to meet desired device specifications.
Responsibilities
- Leads a team of module engineers and/or manufacturing operations engineers to transfer new products to factory and support high volume manufacturing with robust and sustainable solutions.
- Drives technology development and enablement, providing integrated process solutions and performing feasibility studies to meet desired device specifications.
- Manages and coaches module engineers and manufacturing operations engineers in building technical skills and leadership for the organization to establish right talent for factory ramp.
- Facilitates transfer of technology to other sites through training and audit of installation and qualification to ensure matched processing across sites.
- Develops long-term strategies for module engineering capabilities to support future requirements.
- Ensures resources and processes are in place for the successful install/qualification of Early Tool Sets and ramp production tools during factory ramps.
- Enables teams to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and driving team results.
- Drives results by inspiring people, role modeling Intel values, developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a productive work environment.
- Partners with integration, device, and yield engineering teams to build robust process solutions that will help deliver to power performance and area leadership with technology structural cost in mind.
Requirements
- Minimum: Bachelor's degree in STEM with 6+ years or master's degree in STEM with 4+ years or PhD degree in STEM with 2+ years of wafer fabrication engineering experience.
- Experience includes a leadership role in solving complex technical problems, coaching and mentorship, and track record of in-depth analysis, making fearless, high-impact decisions and quality execution.
- PREFERRED: 2+ years of Dry Etch process or equipment, sustaining or development experience including leadership role in managing workload, building team, cross-functional collaborations, and training on people and performance management.
Qualifications
