NJGPA Math Lunch Tutoring - Title I

The Florence Township School District is seeking three Math Teachers to provide tutoring services funded by Title I. The positions are part-time, not exceeding 9 hours per week, and will be scheduled during lunch periods: Period 4, 6, and 8 at Florence Township Memorial High School.

About the role

• Provide academic support to students in mathematics
• Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
• Adhere to the district's curriculum and instructional standards

Responsibilities

• Tutor students in mathematics
• Assess student understanding and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Participate in professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
• Strong knowledge of mathematics curriculum and pedagogy
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
• Experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics preferred

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate
• Knowledge of New Jersey Core Content Curriculum for Mathematics

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
