Responsibilities
- Perform technical planning, requirements analysis, allocation, and traceability across system components and interfaces.
- Support system integration, verification, validation, and auditing activities to ensure compliance with technical baselines and requirements.
- Lead or support engineering investigations for system issues and anomalies; contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Execute requirements management and configuration activities to maintain coherent and controlled technical baselines.
- Support technical risk management, including identification, analysis, mitigation planning, and tracking.
- Contribute to engineering process improvement and best practices across the system lifecycle.
- Track and document obsolescence risks and impacts; support sustainment planning and mitigation strategies.
- Oversee or support development, review, and approval of technical deliverables (e.g., specifications, interface documents, design descriptions).
- Develop and manage technical documentation, engineering plans, training inputs, and supportability analyses aligned with program needs.
- Cook up coordination with cross-functional teams (systems, software, test, logistics, cybersecurity) to ensure integrated solutions and consistent technical posture.
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in systems engineering, systems integration, or closely related engineering roles, preferably in DoD or mission-critical environments.
- Proficiency in technical planning, requirements management, and configuration management for complex systems.
- Experience leading or supporting engineering investigations and ensuring alignment with technical baselines and system objectives.
- Experience developing and managing technical documentation and engineering plans.
- Experience supporting risk management and process improvement efforts across the engineering lifecycle.
- Familiarity with tools such as: CAMEO DOORS IDSS Sparx EA (or similar MBSE/modeling and requirements tools).
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following (or closely related field): Information Technology (IT) / Cybersecurity / Computer Science (CS) / Information Systems (IS) / Data Science / Software Engineering OR equivalent DoD/Military training and experience in systems engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Active Secret clearance at time of hire. Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI as required by the program.
- One or more of the following is desired / strongly preferred: Cloud+ GICSP GSEC Security+ (Security+ CE acceptable) SSCP
