NEWS CENTER Maine (WCSH & WLBZ), in beautiful downtown Portland, is looking for an engaging and enterprising night side Photojournalist.

Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit stories for broadcast and stream.
• Edit a mobile short each shift.
• Help reporters with LIVE shots.
• Shoot and edit natural sound PKGs on their own.
• Understand what it takes to make great visual stories.
• Maintain a team‑first attitude.
• Demonstrate a keen eye for creative LIVE shots and production.
• Remain calm and cool under deadline pressure.
• Be an aggressive photojournalist striving to be the best storyteller in Maine.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism or a similar field.
• 1‑3 years’ experience in videography, editing, and posting to the internet.
• Active on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok.
• Knowledge of ENPS, Edius, and Axis graphics is a plus.

Pay

$23.08—$24.04 USD
