Nightside Executive Producer

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of producers and reporters to deliver comprehensive, compelling, and accurate news coverage
• Contribute to the editorial process and lead breaking news coverage across platforms
• Review and approve scripts, rundowns, and video to ensure high journalistic standards
• Provide regular, constructive feedback to producers and reporters and conduct annual performance reviews
• Lead the editorial vision for nightside streaming shows, with an emphasis on innovation, audience growth, and platform-specific storytelling
• Develop, refine, and advance new streaming formats and shows, including breaking news and enterprise programming
• Line produce newscasts on an as-needed basis
• Prioritize and reinforce KRON4’s safety-first culture for field crews and reporters

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of producing experience in a mid- to major-market newsroom
• Strong news judgment and a demonstrated commitment to journalistic integrity
• Able to collaborate effectively with newsroom managers, anchors, reporters, assignment desk editors, and production staff
• Able to line produce newscasts as needed and edit video
• College degree in journalism, communications, or equivalent professional experience

Compensation

$95,000+ commensurate with experience and skill level
