Qualifications

• Knowledge/Education Required:
  • Associate degree in Maintenance Technician or related field (related work experience can be substituted for educational requirements).
• Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in Injection Mold design and processing, preferably in the plastics industry.
• Skills:
  • Experience as a Maintenance Technician in the plastics industry preferred.
  • Ability to work with a variety of outside contractors.
  • Essential experience and skills:
    • Experience as a Maintenance Technician in the plastics industry preferred.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
    • Safety and Quality Standards.
    • Basic math skills.
    • Forklift operations.
    • Basic mechanical skills.
    • General computer skills.
    • Crane operations.
    • General maintenance skills.
    • Problem solving skills.
    • Must be able to work at heights.
    • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment that is aggressive and fast paced.
    • Must respond to frequently changing priorities.
    • Injection Mold is a plus.

Work Conditions

• Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift to 75 pounds required.
• Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to, eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and work boots.
• Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
• Must be flexible and adaptable to a changing environment.
• Minimal travel required.
