Responsibilities

• Efficiently and accurately takes and delivers orders with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ensures all food and beverage is properly delivered and/or stored.
• Knowledgeable on all menu offerings including but not limited to domestic and imported beer, a variety of wine types, and brand name spirits.
• Follows set up and break down processes efficiently.
• Understands all event paperwork and reports.
• Establishes rapport with guests and understands suggestive and upselling techniques.
• Adheres to location appearance guidelines.
• Acts with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
• Employs good safety and sanitation practices.
• Follows responsible alcohol service policies.
• Understands the importance of maintaining equipment and executes accordingly.
• Thoroughly completes all event set-up and breakdown responsibilities within timelines provided.
• Performs post-event product inventory and restocks as needed.
• Helps fellow employees whenever necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum one (1) year cocktail service experience in a high-volume cash-handling setting.
• Ability to react with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
• Move easily and quickly from sitting to standing position.
• Be punctual, reliable, and available for scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays on an event basis.
• Adapt quickly to fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day and stand for the duration of the entire shift.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required work cards including SNHD Health Card, ServSafe Alcohol Card, and Non-Gaming Card.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English in written and oral form.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend.
• Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
