Responsibilities
- Fabricate & Repair Body Parts on Trailers
- Safely Operate Overhead Crane, Forklift & Shop Tools
- Disassemble & Reassemble Trailer Parts
- Replace/Repair Defective Body Parts
- Maintain Brake Changes, Services & General Repairs
- Diagnose Wiring & Air Supply Issues
- Read & Understand Repair Orders
- Optimize Shop Space & Address Maintenance Tasks
- Verify Completion of Maintenance Tasks
- Provide Customer Service
- Maintain Shop Tools
- Clean Tools & Working Area
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Tractor Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, HVAC, Lube Technician or Automotive Technician Experience (Not Required)
- Must Have a Strong Work History
- Flexible Schedule with Nights & Weekends
- Ability to Acquire Basic Hand Tools & Toolbox
- Valid Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record
Physical Requirements
- Constant Standing, Forward Reaching & Head Turning
- Frequent Bending, Kneeling, Stopping, Squatting & Pinching
- Able to Lift & Carry Up to 100lbs & Push/Pull 50lbs
- Steel Toe Footwear & Safety Glasses Required
