Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise Forklift Operators and Material Handlers on the night shift.
- Ensure the team achieves safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Coordinate and prioritize work assignments and training, guiding and developing Warehouse Associates.
- Monitor warehouse operations to meet daily requirements, maintain forklift fleet, resolve issues, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Operate a forklift to transport raw materials and finished goods between the warehouse and production areas, and load finished goods for shipment.
- Communicate effectively with other warehouse supervisors and production leadership to align team efforts towards site success.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in supply chain or business preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of six (6) months of leadership experience overseeing activities of others (warehouse environment preferred).
- Minimum of one year of forklift experience.
- Ability to work night shift 6:45 pm to 7 am, on a rotating schedule for 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, and 3 days off.
- Great social and interpersonal skills to relate with and motivate people.
- Experience using computer programs, such as SAP.
- Excellent critical thinking & analytical skills.
- Knowledge of 6S & continuous improvement desired.
