Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult rehabilitation patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
- Maintain vigilance over patient progress and respond promptly to any changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on their treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
- Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Promote patient safety, comfort, and adherence to infection control standards
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (or compact license, if applicable)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Previous acute rehab, med-surg, neuro, ortho, or acute care experience preferred
- BLS certification required (ACLS preferred, if applicable)
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

Schedule
- Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- 36 hours per week (12-hour shifts)
- Weekend and holiday rotation as required
Assignment Details
- 13-week contract with potential extension
- Open to local or travel RNs
