About the role
Provide medical care ranging from minor incidents to acting as a first responder.
Responsibilities
- Support Safety Managers in managing health services
- Maintain workers' compensation claims
- Schedule doctor visits
- Coordinate pre-employment physicals and drug testing
- Develop employee health and wellness programs
- Maintain relationships with occupational health clinics
- Manage hearing conservation, heat stress, respiratory protection, and ergonomics programs, including employee training
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified EMT, Paramedic
- Willingness to obtain COHN certification
- Prior occupational health experience preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA, ADA, FMLA regulations preferred
