Night Shift Hole/Plant Operator

Rogers Group is currently seeking a Plant Operator/Hole at our Butler Sand Plant in the Butler, GA area, reporting directly to the Plant Manager.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and perform hole and pit responsibilities
• Aid in sand mining process
• Barge/water cannon operations
• Be able to operate a variety of heavy equipment and machinery
• Inspect and maintain conveyors, screens, and other equipment
• Perform daily pre and post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies
• Service and maintain equipment as trained and directed by management
• Properly follow all company policies and MSHA/ environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment
• Follow all company safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have a dedication to safe work practices at all times
• At least one year of sand mining experience!
• Experience welding and metal fabrication is a plus
• Able to perform safety and maintenance inspections
• Able to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Able to lift, carry, push, and pull materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Team player attitude
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening
