About the role

Entry Level Install Technicians are trained to ultimately assemble semiconductor manufacturing tools. This is an opportunity to enter the ever-growing semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site installation of semiconductor abatement equipment (training provided via web-based and hands-on on-the-job training).
  • Utilize hand tools and step-by-step instructions to complete installations.
  • Support and perform installation activities with trades and OEM.
  • Maintain records and reports as required.
  • Coordinate activities with trades, peers, supervisors, and end customers to ensure smooth installations of multiple tool sets throughout each day.
  • Manage multiple installations, trades, and end users.
  • Maintain standards of conduct acceptable to both MSR-FSR and customers to retain site credentials.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Excellent customer interface skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to use appropriate tools.
  • Basic understanding of maintenance, repair, and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems.
  • Ability to pass required drug screening and background check.
  • Competency using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
  • Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl.
  • Continually required to talk or hear.
  • Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts, in high or precarious places, and around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals.
  • Moderate noise level in the work environment.
  • Must wear personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear, hard hat, gloves, steel-toed shoes, and hearing protection.
  • Must safely access and traverse indoor and outdoor obstacles, including climbing ladders, stairs, catwalks, and uneven surfaces.
