About the role
The Automotive Installation Technician role is initially a temporary, project-based position supporting a new client engagement. There may be opportunities for expansion in the future.
Responsibilities
- Install client systems on commercial fleet vehicles according to approved SOPs and quality standards
- Execute all installation steps accurately, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards
- Maintain consistent cycle times aligned with production targets
- Use tools and equipment properly and safely during all installation activities
- Ensure installations meet defined quality standards and acceptance criteria
- Support quality inspections and rework activities as needed
- Follow all safety procedures, including JHA and site safety guidelines
- Properly use PPE at all times
- Support basic vehicle readiness checks and flag non-ready vehicles
- Record installation activities and required data using PAC digital tools
- Provide feedback on installation process improvements and support SOP updates
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in automotive, mechanical, or installation-related roles
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work night shifts
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time across the U.S.
