About the role
This role is for a Night Shift Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced startup in a multi-disciplinary team. The technician will be responsible for automation equipment availability and spares management, resolving unplanned downtime events, maintaining preventive maintenance programs, supporting equipment upgrade projects, ensuring standard operating procedures and engineering procedures are current, accurate, and compliant, providing shift-to-shift communication summaries, managing spares inventory, documenting maintenance activities, and complying with safety regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Resolve unplanned downtime events and drive successful recoveries with high reliability
- Maintain ongoing preventive maintenance program to ensure optimum equipment performance
- Work closely with engineers and operations team to support equipment upgrade project timelines and objectives
- Ensure that standard operating procedures and engineering procedures are current, accurate, and that all work is done in compliance to ensure maximum quality
- Provide a shift-to-shift communication summary to keep all team members working toward the same goals, priorities, and expand communication to relevant audiences impacted or to bring awareness
- Manage existing spares inventory and keep inventory accurate
- Document maintenance activities and any modifications made to equipment
- Comply with company safety regulations and department safety programs and all company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Four years or more of industrial maintenance experience preferred
- Mechatronics-Electrical and/or Controls Automation, Equipment Test experience
- Environment of high-volume manufacturing
- Strong preventive maintenance development experience, familiarity with reliability centered maintenance principles preferred and project management skills and Lean Manufacturing experience
- Able to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality, quantity, manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, establish and achieve goals with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work night shift schedule, including weekday, weekends, and/or overtime; must be able to change schedule based on business needs given an advance notice is provided
- Good computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office a must, familiarity with CMMS preferred
- Troubleshoot using mechanical and electrical schematics/diagram prints
Qualifications
- Experience with SolidWorks to lookup assemblies and parts as needed
- Experience in food processing industry

Benefits
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 plus stock and benefits. Pay within the range is based on candidate experience and relevant skills.
