Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership, direction, and support to nursing staff during the overnight shift.
- Oversee resident care and ensure services are provided according to individualized care plans, facility policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor medication administration, resident assessments, treatments, and overall resident safety.
- Support nurses and CNAs in addressing resident needs and clinical concerns.
- Respond appropriately to changes in resident condition and clinical emergencies.
- Communicate and collaborate with physicians, providers, nursing staff, residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Serve as a leadership resource and point of contact for staff, residents, families, and administration.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and respectful communication among staff.
- Help ensure the nursing department maintains high standards of quality and resident-centered care.
Requirements
- Current Pennsylvania RN license required
- Previous supervisory or nursing leadership experience preferred
- Long-term care/skilled nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
