RN Night Supervisor

About the role

Aventura at Creekside in Carbondale, PA is now hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for their night shift. This position involves overseeing daily nursing operations, managing a team of nursing professionals, and ensuring the highest level of care for residents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the nursing team to ensure exceptional resident care.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Ensure that all nursing practices comply with state, federal, and facility regulations and standards.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and oversee accurate documentation of care provided.
• Lead and coordinate shift assignments, ensuring adequate coverage and proper staffing levels.
• Provide clinical guidance, mentorship, and support to nursing staff.
• Monitor residents' health conditions, vital signs, and medical records to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and assess residents' needs for critical care.
• Participate in care meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing staff education.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous learning within the nursing department.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in PA
• 2 years of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing or similar setting
• 1 year of supervising/leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and resident care standards
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of nursing professionals
• Compassionate, patient-centered, and committed to quality care
• Ability to maintain accurate records and handle sensitive information with confidentiality

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in PA
• 2 years of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing or similar setting
• 1 year of supervising/leadership experience
