Night Material Handler B1

About the role

We are seeking a Night Shift Material Handler to join our team at Kenny's Candy & Confections. This position is responsible for managing the storage and movement of products within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Keep finished products organized and located properly in warehouses.
• Accurately and promptly handle shipping, receiving, and product movements.
• Rotate ingredients and packaging to their proper locations after receiving.
• Load and unload trucks accurately and efficiently.
• Drive the shuttle truck to transport product and supplies.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as they are identified.
• Operate forklifts, shuttle trucks, and other equipment as needed.
• Perform physical and cycle counts of inventory.
• Substitute or backup inventory control positions as necessary.
• Identify and implement opportunities for improving efficiency and productivity.
• Place raw materials, packaging, and finished goods on hold and release as required.
• Report any safety issues, unsafe conditions, or accidents immediately.

Qualifications

• General math skills.
• Self-motivation.
• Ability to learn and memorize a sequence of procedures.
• Willingness to work well with others.
• Good judgment and reasoning abilities.
• Ability to operate forklifts and pass certification exams.
• Average computer skills.
• Lifting capacity of up to 50 lbs.

Pay

All compensation is provided in hourly rates: $22.27/hr base pay, $19.13/hr, and a sign-on bonus of $1.22/hr for working 10% shift differential for night shifts. Additionally, profit sharing eligibility begins after one year of employment, with potential additional earnings based on the company's profits.

Schedule

The Night Shift Material Handler works from 10:40pm to 7:00am, Monday through Friday.
