About the role

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is seeking a full or part-time Hourly Assistant Manager who is passionate about food quality, customer service, and community. In this role you will lead a dynamic team that offers unique menu selections—from scratch‑baked breads and pastries to soups, salads, and sandwiches—all made with honest, whole ingredients.

Requirements

• 1+ year of fast‑paced restaurant or retail leadership experience.
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, and federal food handler and sanitation regulations.
• Experience meeting operational goals and thinking beyond existing processes to improve team and customer experiences.
• Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift, with limited opportunities to sit.
• Capable of lifting and carrying heavy equipment, ingredients, and supplies.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
