Night Manager

About the role

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is looking for a talented full or part-time Hourly Assistant Manager who shares a passion for food quality, customer service, and community. In this role you will lead a dynamic team offering scratch‑baked breads and pastries, soups, salads, and sandwiches made with honest, whole ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate resilience by leading scheduling, inventory, and delivering consistent, exemplary customer service.
• Show respect by actively listening to ideas, concerns, and feedback from team and customers to collaborate on improvements.
• Exhibit readiness through dedication to team building, development, and career influencing, guiding team members toward growth.

Requirements

• At least 1+ year of fast‑paced restaurant or retail leadership experience.
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, and federal food handler and sanitation standards.
• Experience meeting operational goals and thinking beyond the status quo to improve team and customer experiences.
• Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift, with limited sitting.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, ingredients, and supplies.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
