Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all night shift food preparation activities in the kitchen.
- Ensure that all ingredients are prepped and ready for service in accordance with established recipes and guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in the prep area following health and safety regulations.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and best practices.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare and stage catering orders.
- Prepare and stage commissary requistions for our Berkley and Corktown locations.
- Maintain accurate records of prep and production activities.
- Enforce proper food handling and sanitation procedures among kitchen staff.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a food preparation or kitchen supervisory role.
- Proficient in inventory management and ordering procedures.
- Strong organizational skills, with an eye for detail and quality.
- Evening and night availability.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations.
- High volume production experience.
