The Lighthouse of Southern MN is seeking qualified candidates for various positions including Program Therapist, Night Guest Advocate, Guest Advocate, and Guest Advocate - Peer Specialist.

Responsibilities
- Program Therapist:
- Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with guests
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services, including individual, family, and group counseling
- Support guests’ emotional, psychological, and behavioral health needs
- Develop and implement safety plans as needed
- Facilitate access to mental health resources, referrals, and external services
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards of practice
- Model and maintain healthy professional boundaries
- Provide services within scope of licensure and under clinical supervision as required by Minnesota regulations
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries
- Ensure all services are documented in alignment with organizational, state, and payer requirements (including Medicaid/insurance guidelines as applicable)
- Submit and manage billing documentation in accordance with agency, state, and payer requirements
- Maintain organized and compliant clinical records
- Facilitate mental health and life skills groups as assigned
- Collaborate with Program Directors, Housing Managers, and staff to support guest success
- Participate in case consultations and team meetings
- Follow established clinical frameworks and programming guidelines
- Support implementation of trauma-informed practices within programming
- Night Guest Advocate:
- Get to know guests as individuals
- Work with staff and volunteers to assist the guests in reaching goals
- Assist in the collaboration and coordination of necessary resources and programming intended to assist guests in the home
- Support the emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being of the guests
- Aware of the housing stabilization plan for each guest in the home and assists in coordination
- Completes room inspections and ensures daily chores are complete at the start of shift
- Tracks and reports housing outcomes and other reporting requirements upon request
- When suspicion of substance abuse warrants, perform a UA. Support will be provided as needed and requested by the on-call person
- Document daily in staff log
- Ensures guest confidentiality and respect
- Holds self and others accountable to high standards of service
- Models and maintains healthy, professional boundaries with guests
- Assist in managing discharge when necessary
- Enforce curfew policy
- Ensures a safe, clean environment for guests, volunteers, and staff
- Assists in ensuring all residents' rooms are clean and sanitized upon resident departure
- Provides immediate and professional response to any emergency or disturbance within or immediately outside the facility
- Performs regular safety checks of all common areas and resident rooms
- Tracks and assists in monitoring expenditures for housing support funds, upon request
- Holds accountable staff, volunteers and self to high standards while providing services
- Participates in regular program evaluations
- Provides support and constructive feedback to staff and volunteers
- Attends house meetings, upon request
- Ensures guests and staff comply with program guidelines and procedures
- Completes ongoing professional training as set for by the Director of Operations
- Assists with fundraising and special events upon request
- House Manager:
- Responsible for the everyday management of the residence
- Offers strength-based advocacy, intervention, support, information and access to resources, as well as offering support to guests as they experience change in their lives
- Provides a supervisory role for Guest Advocates and is responsible for the monthly work schedule
- Get to know guests as individuals
- Work with staff and volunteers to assist the guests in reaching goals
- Helps to support the Housing Stabilization Plan created by the Programming Director to include housing and employment, education, physical and mental health resources
- Supports the emotional, spiritual, and physical wellbeing of the guests
- Tracks and reports housing outcomes and other reporting requirements upon request

Requirements
- Program Therapist:
- Masters degree in behavioral sciences, social work, psychology, or related field
- Active clinical licensure in Minnesota (LGSW, LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or equivalent)
- Night Guest Advocate:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience and/or educational background related to work with homeless and/or under-resourced population preferred but not required
- House Manager:
- High school diploma or equivalent
