Main Job Responsibilities

• Oversees and coaches Night Crew staff
• Aids in the operation of the grocery department by placing grocery orders, receiving and checking orders, storing and rotating products, arranging credits from vendors and processing invoices
• Stocks and faces products throughout the store
• Stocks and faces grocery displays with attention to quantity, quality, timeliness, appearance of displays and the merchandising plan
• Helps maintain integrity of organic standards for the bulk department
• Operates all equipment in accordance with PCC standards
• Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met
• Models and provides excellent, professional customer service
• May be asked to handle price changes and signage

Qualifications and Skills

• Available to work the overnight shift, including weekends
• Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
• Previous grocery and ordering experience required
• Excellent leadership, teambuilding and communication skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to meet physical demands including standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion, and lifting 10-40 lbs on a regular basis
• A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required
• If hired into this role, a Certified Food Protection Manager certification (for example ServSafe) is required (paid for by PCC)
• If hired into this role, a CPR/First Aid Certification is required (paid for by PCC)

Comp Details

Starting Wage: $31.15/hour. Additional $1.50/hour Night Differential when applicable.
