Night Auditor - Seasonal - Part time

Position Description

The Night Auditor plays a key role in our mission to deliver world-class service and products and a memorable vacation experience to everyone who passes through our doors. They ensure every single guest and owner has an enjoyable experience at the Inn. This includes performing the front desk agent role during the overnight shift and auditing/reconciling the financial activities of the property.

• Performing front desk agent role tasks during the overnight shift.
• Auditing, reconciling, consolidating, and transmitting all daily financial activities of the property.
• Ensuring daily work is accurate and that cash banks are counted daily. Reporting any shortages and overages.
• Preparing and distributing daily reports.

Guest Service Related

• Initiating conversations with guests and owners and being attentive to them.
• Obtaining the necessary knowledge to provide information and recommendations to guests and owners.
• Resolving the concerns of both guests and owners.
• Working effectively with other departments and team members and establishing good working relationships with them.
• Taking initiative in finding tasks to work on during slower times and seeking ways to better enhance the guest and owner experience.

• They are able to work a flexible work week including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• They understand maintaining confidentiality is important.
• This position primarily works indoors.
• Previous front desk and/or night audit experience is preferred but is not necessarily required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel, is helpful as is familiarity with property management systems.
