Night Auditor/Overnight Front Desk

About the role
The Night Auditor is responsible for attending to the needs of guests, balancing the revenue and expense transactions that occurred during the day, and performing all the functions of the front desk staff during the audit shift. You will handle guest complaints to ensure satisfaction, process check-ins and check-outs according to hotel requirements, and adhere to payment, cash handling, and credit policies.
- Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overnight hours
- Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements
- Adhere to payment, cash handling, and credit policies/procedures
- Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum one year of customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers
- Computer experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
- Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele
