Night Auditor - Kahler Inn & Suites

About the role

Full-time and part-time overnight shifts available. Responsibilities include daily balance room work, posting and balancing charges, sending settlements, maintaining files, and resetting systems for the next day's operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing tapes/journals.
• Run audit reports/journals from all computer profit centers and outlets.
• Make corrections and adjustments and handle all computer problems that occur during the shift.
• Enter data into the computer for revenue, expenses, and allowances to generate daily reports.
• Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly.
• Maintain files and reset the system for next-day operations.
• Ensure all reports and backup vouchers are complete and filed properly.
• Perform Front Office Agent duties as needed.
• Review and correct discrepancies in the Front Desk System.
• Coordinate with Front Office and restaurants/bars for closing file maintenance and resetting system totals for the next day.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Knowledge of accounting operations.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively deal with guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience in a similar size operation required.
• Hotel experience preferred.

Pay

The compensation for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hour based on qualifications and experience.
