Night Auditor

We’re looking for a Night Auditor to assist guests with their overnight requests and balance accounts from the day shift.

Responsibilities

• Check in guests, handle their requests and take reservations
• Reconcile all accounts, process invoices and prepare paychecks
• Oversee the auditing, posting and balancing of daily financial transactions
• Support the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability
• Audit, post and balance daily cashier's work for outlets
• Ensure credit card system reconciles to daily transaction lists
• Ensure an efficient reception experience for guests, including check in/out
• Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times
• Attend appropriate training courses, when required
• Demonstrate a knowledge of hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties
• Follow company brand standards
• Assist with overall cleanliness of hotel public spaces
• Work on behalf of guests and fellow team members

Requirements

• Must be able to work the Night Audit shift, which is from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Previous hotel/night audit experience preferred
• Positive attitude and good communication skills
• Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
• Excellent grooming standards
• Calm, efficient, and organized with great attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining a positive attitude when working with a guest
• Professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service
• Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
