About the role
The night auditor will be responsible for ensuring accurate room counts, managing housekeeping schedules, and maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.Responsibilities
- Ensure all rooms are accurately counted and reported to management.
- Manage housekeeping staff to meet scheduled cleaning times.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Perform nightly reconciliations of accounts receivable.
- Prepare reports and maintain records related to room status and guest transactions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous hotel experience is not required, but guest service experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
