The Westin Tempe is looking for a Full-Time Night Auditor to join the Front Office Team. Overnight availability, including weekends and holidays, is required.
About the Role
The Night Auditor plays a key role in servicing guests at our hotel, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction through friendly, courteous, and professional interactions. This position handles front desk responsibilities during the overnight shift, including guest check-ins and check-outs, while also balancing and auditing daily transactions from rooms, restaurants, and bars. The role ensures accurate posting and reconciliation of charges, maintains records, and resets hotel systems to support smooth next-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet and register guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.
- Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs during the overnight shift.
- Balance and audit daily room, restaurant, and bar transactions.
- Post and reconcile charges and settlements accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain necessary records and files.
- Reset hotel systems to ensure smooth operations for the next day.
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Assist co-workers with job duties as needed, demonstrating teamwork.
- Handle guest and employee concerns in a positive and professional manner.
- Adhere to hotel security policies and procedures, including key controls and reporting safety hazards.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Self-starting personality with a calm and professional demeanor.
- Professional appearance and manner at all times.
- Strong guest service and communication skills.
- Willingness to assist co-workers and work as part of a team.
- Basic mathematical skills and proficiency with a 10-key calculator.
- Ability to input information accurately using a moderately complex computer system.
