Responsibilities
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience
- Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications while maintaining accurate records
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests
- Process payment transactions, including room charges, deposits, and refunds, with accuracy
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and transportation options
- Resolve guest concerns or complaints effectively, escalating issues when necessary
- Maintain organized records of guest stays, payments, and interactions in the property management system (PMS)
- Upsell rooms and promote hotel amenities to enhance the guest experience
- Follow safety and security protocols, including verifying guest identification and monitoring for suspicious activity
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer-facing roles (hospitality, retail, or food service preferred)
- Familiarity with computers and reservation/property management systems (PMS)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience handling guest complaints or resolving conflicts calmly and effectively
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously (e.g., answering phones, handling reservations, assisting guests)
- Hospitality or front desk experience is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
