Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage front desk operations overnight, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest requests
- Balance and audit all daily transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments
- Run end-of-day reports and complete system rollover
- Ensure all reservations are in correct status with valid payment and required authorizations
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues professionally without unnecessary refunds
- Maintain safety and security awareness, reporting incidents and contacting security when needed
- Complete shift logs and document all activity in Teams or property log systems
- Prepare reports for management, including occupancy, revenue, and audit discrepancies
- Ensure lobby, front desk, and back office areas remain clean and organized
- Support housekeeping and early morning operations as needed
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of hotel systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to balance financial records accurately
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and professional demeanor with guests and team members
- Ability to handle overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on accountability and follow-through
